Can I leave my child unattended whilst they are in their lesson?

No, all parents/guardians must watch the lesson and remain in our lesson viewing areas in case your child needs you or in the event of an emergency.

No your child does not need goggles for their lesson, however a lot of children prefer to wear them. It is personal choice. Please remember goggles can cause problems and disrupt lessons, so please make sure they fit correctly before the lesson and your child knows to keep them on. Our teachers may ask your child to remove their goggles if practicing safety skills and/or they are causing disruption to the lesson.

We offer lessons from the age of 18 months in our adult and child lessons. From the age of 3 we accept children in our group and private lessons.

Your child should wear a comfortable swimming costume, swim shorts or any other appropriate swimwear, they can even wear a wetsuit if they get cold. For toddlers, they must wear a swim nappy.

All sessions are 30 minutes long.

Don’t worry, we will do everything we can to support every swimmer in the water with our friendly guidance and encouragement to help them feel more at ease and overcome their fear.

Unfortunately we do not take bookings in advance, we only can tell you current availability if you wish to start now. We can add you to our waiting list though.

If you are unable to attend a lesson, we sadly can’t refund your session. We only refund in the event we have to cancel your lesson.

Yes we do, we can do this for any age above 3.

We have a minimum of 6 children per instructor in our lower level groups and 7 in our more advanced classes. Our adult and child classes can be up to 8 pairs.

Yes, we teach in the water for all lower level ability until they can swim unaided and improving their stroke technique.

Yes, we ask all spectators to watch the lesson from our viewing areas but to please not interrupt the lessons or try to talk to your child.

Absolutely! All of our instructors are fully qualified swim teachers, CPR/first aid and have safeguarding training. All staff members have ongoing staff training and attend further courses to keep skills up to date.
